The Scottish Churches Utility Group was established in early 2000 and is dedicated to providing competitive energy procurement solutions to churches and places of worship throughout Scotland. The group encompasses church/places of worship sites from a variety of denominations. We are dedicated to the provision of electricity, gas and oil to church/places of worship at the best possible price.
Each participant benefits from our in-depth experience to maximise leverage with the suppliers.
The Scottish Churches – Electricity and Gas group supports churches and places of worship in the purchase of Electricity and Gas.
Applications can be made to join the Electricity and Gas group for each of the following:
Each participating church/place of worship retains autonomy, with each utility agreement under a separate stand-alone contract between the church/place of worship and the energy supplier; there is no third party invoicing or payment, billing and payment is made direct to the energy supplier.
The Scottish Churches – Oil group supports churches and places of worship in the purchase of kerosene / gas oil. By buying through the group churches/places of worship benefit from preferential kerosene / gas oil prices, ensure they are paying a low price and ultimately reducing the price paid for oil.
Applications can be made to join the Oil group for each of the following:
Two delivery options are available:
Each participating church/place of worship retains autonomy with each oil delivery, there is no third party invoicing or payment. Billing and payment is made direct with the supplier.
Taking part is simple. Send us an email via our contact page below and we will send you an application form. That’s it, and we do the rest. Alternatively if you wish to discuss your churches utilities in more detail or to find out more about taking part please contact us.
You have nothing to pay as we receive a fee direct from the energy supplier and NOT from your church/place of worship. We will also remain as your energy broker for the duration of the contract term, offering on-going advice and assistance on energy related matters.
All the information we require is on the application form (you can easily obtain this from your energy bills). It however would help us if you could send a recent copy bill. Other than that, we do the rest.
